It's been a busy wedding season for True North DJs. At last count, we will be providing DJ, music services & up lighting for over 120 events this year.

We use online tools to track our comments & postings and here are a couple of samples of what brides are saying about us this year.

Throughout the whole wedding planning process he was helpful and quick to respond to any questions or requests I had for our wedding. Our DJ during the wedding, Matt, was also wonderful. He played a variety of music that kept the dance floor going until the lights came on. He also stayed right on schedule as per my requests and was extremely polite and friendly. On November 27th, we had the pleasure of DJing for Ashley & Steve's wedding at the Halifax Club. They are a great couple. Steve is in the RCMP & they are currently living in the NWT. They wanted a "winter wedding" so we provided some great up lighting to compliment the Christmas decor at the Halifax Club.

What made the day even more special is that they asked us to provide ceremony music, which is an amazing way to connect with the couple. We coordinated their music selections from entrance, aisle march, signing of the registry (which was a story of it's own on this day. )

Following their ceremony, we set the Almon Room at the Halifax Club for dinner. We spread our up lighting around the room casting their pre-selected red light up the columns and other unique arcitectural features of the room...

Before opening the doors, I asked Kayla, the Halifax Club's F&B Manager, to help me film a brief "before & after" video of the room... The result is the following video...

Dinner was awesome and we partied until they kicked us out. Special thanks to Shawn at the bar - he was making some great "Ras-mopolitans"!

We are excited to be launching our newest feature @ TNDJs - our blog. Light, fresh, fun and keeping people up to speed with life in the loud lane.

I'll be putting up videos & pix from events, pointers and tips for people looking for ideas as well as a small dose of completely off the wall type stuff - more for my own amusement than anything...

Stay tuned as we have some features to be posting that hopefully will be viewed as helpful, but not over-done with seriousness!
